Guidance for Mourners, 2024
This photo series is an exploration of the relationship between life and death. The main concept of this series is providing a chance for the sitter to think about their death, and let the viewers know how they think about death.
It is inspired by a discussion about my grandmother’s death between me and my mother. My mother is concerning about her own death without preparation like my grandmother’s. She hopes she can at least tell me how to arrange her funeral and will be able to clean up her own stuff before she dies.
This is an ongoing project.
